01 — About us

We document
how life feels now

RuxLife started as a tiny zine about Russian urban life and grew into a global slow-living movement. We mix street anthropology, design thinking and old-school journalism.

RuxLife editorial team in the city
Our mission

Help you live louder with less noise, less stuff, more meaning.

We test morning routines, walk 20k steps for a story, cook with grandmas, interview architects, founders and night-shift bakers. Then we turn it into practical guides.

What makes RuxLife different?

No clickbait. No endless doomscroll. Every piece answers: how does this make my day better tomorrow morning? We publish 3 deep stories per week, not 30 shallow ones.

🌿 Slow living lab

We test habits for 30 days: dopamine detox, 5AM club, no-phone Sundays.

🏙 City as muse

Brutalism, courtyards, rooftops, markets — city guides with soul.

✍ Real humans

120+ contributors: chefs, drivers, nurses, DJs, forest rangers.

📵 Conscious tech

AI, apps and gadgets reviewed through wellbeing lens.
